Carrier Corporation is an American company that creates climate systems and equipment. Is a world leader in air conditioning, heating and ventilation. Carrier is headquartered in Farmington, Connecticut, USA. Carrier has a worldwide network of hundreds of distributors and thousands of dealers who sell, install and service products in 171 countries. Founded in 1902, when Willis Carrier invented his first air conditioner. Carrier's first client was a New York printer, who could not print a good quality color image because the changing temperature and humidity caused changes in the size of the paper sheet and shifts in the application of paint.

For the first two decades, Carrier's invention, which controlled indoor temperature and humidity, was used primarily to create comfortable working conditions for machines and processes, not people. The southern textile factories of the United States were among the first consumers of the new Carrier system. Lack of moisture in the air at a cotton mill in Belmont, New Carolina, created increased electrification in the room, which made cotton unusable. The Carrier system raised and stabilized the humidity.

The first delivery of the Carrier system outside the United States was made to Japan in 1907 for a silk factory in Yokohama.

The Carrier product range includes split systems, mobile air conditioners, chillers, fan coil units, central air conditioners, air-cooled compressor and condensing units, indoor unit air conditioners and roof air conditioners, air-cooled condensers and liquid coolers.
