DAIKIN (Daikin Industries Ltd.) is a Japanese corporation founded in 1924, a world leader in the production of domestic and industrial air conditioners, heating and ventilation systems. It was originally called Osaka Kinzoku Kougyou, and in 1963 it was renamed Daikin Industries Ltd.

DAIKIN Corporation is well known on all continents as a manufacturer of refrigerants, lubricants, electronic and digital devices used in the aviation, space and nuclear industries of Japan. She also implemented such knowledge-based and high-tech in-house developments as the economical Swing compressor, the powerful magnetoelectric Reluctance DC Motor, the Worry Free microprocessor control system, the MIO Control automatic multi-parameter optimization system and others.

Despite this, 99% of the development and production of DAIKIN Corporation falls on the field of climate technology as the most actively growing and promising.

Daikin has 13 factories in different parts of the world with a total production area of more than 1.5 million square meters and over 30,000 employees. In Japan alone, the corporation built 5 factories equipped with the latest technology; besides them, the production of air conditioners is established in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Southeast Asia, Australia and the USA.
